Namal Institute was initially built to offer short certificate courses and diplomas with a view to providing technical education to the underprivileged youth of the District of Mianwali. The current structure that stands on a high pedestal across the scenic Namal Lake took shape in 2008 and it started with a humble beginning of offering technical diplomas to students with a view to make them employable for self-sustenance. However, it turned out to be just a prelude to a much greater cause – establishing the largest Knowledge City of Pakistan.

In Affiliation with UET, Lahore

  • B.Sc Computer Science
    Eligibility: F.Sc Pre-Engineering or F.Sc (Maths, Physics & Computer Science) or equivalent with at least 60% marks
  • B.Sc Electrical Engineering (Specialization in Computing)
    Eligibility: F.Sc Pre-Engineering or equivalent with at least 60% marks
  • BBA (with Specialization in | Agribusiness | Marketing & Finance | Data Analytics and Operations)
    Eligibility: FA/F.Sc or equivalent with at least 60% marks

Entry Test Requirement:

  • Combined Entry Test 2020 conducted by UET Lahore for Punjab domiciled applicants.
  • Entry Test of any Public Sector Engineering University or NAT-2020 (Conducted by NTS) for non-Punjab domiciled applicants.
  • All BBA applicants can opt for NAT-2020 (Conducted by NTS) or any of the above tests.

Merit Calculation Criteria:

  • Intermediate: 70%
  • Entry Test: 30%

Budget 2020-21: Budget aims for trillion rupee tax revenue hike with ‘no new taxes’
