Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission Offers
MS Funding for Medical Doctors, Scientists and Engineers
Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC) and some other Government Departments offer a fellowship to MS students at PIEAS and KINPOE:
- A stipend of Rs. 35,000/- per month with full fee waiver.
- Free hostel, transport, and indoor medical treatment.
- Students have to pledge a bond to serve PAEC/Sponsoring department for 5 years after completion of their degree.
- Appointment after completion of studies in SPS-8 with 3 advance increments.
- Eligibility for promotion to next grade in SPS-9 after two years of service.
Around 150 fellowships for MS Studies are available on a competitive basis.
Fellowship from IT Endowment Fund
IT Endowment Fund Scholarships for MS Computer Science/Cyber Security Programs at PIEAS
- A stipend of Rs. 25,000/- per month with full fee-waiver.
- Free hostel & transport facility.
- Students have to pledge a bond to serve the country for 5 years after completion of their degree.
PhD at PIEAS
- PIEAS offers PhD admissions to all its MS relevant fields.
- Preferably a first-class academic career. However, one second division (>50% marks) is allowed except in the final degree.
- MS (18 Year Education) in the relevant field and at least 3.0 CGPA out of 4 or equivalent in MS/M.Phil degree.
- Subject GRE (International)/GAT-Subject test conducted by NTS as per HEC requirements.
- HEC scholarship holders can apply.
- Serving applicants have to provide NOC from their employers.
- PhD candidates can apply at any time after qualifying subject test.
- The final selection will be made after a thorough interview of the eligible candidates.
- Few scholarships from Endowment Fund for PhD are available in IT-related fields.

Eligibility:
- Minimum 60% in both Matriculation/O-Level (Science) and Intermediate/A-Level
- Pre-Engineering for all BS Engineering disciplines
- Physics and Mathematics for BS Computer & Information Sciences
- Physics for BS Physics
- Additional Maths is also eligible.
- Students awaiting their final result, but expecting to secure the required percentage of marks may also apply.
- Selection shall be made strictly on merit determined by:
- PIEAS Admission Test 60%
- Matric 15%
- F.Sc or F.Sc (Part-1) 25%
- O-Level/A-Level 40% of O-Level equivalence from IBCC
OR
- Admission on the basis of SAT scores:
- SAT-II result of three subjects (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics level II)
- A minimum score of 2000 is required.
- SAT scores must reach registrar, PIEAS, latest by 05 July, 2019.
- The PIEAS Institutional Code to receive SAT scores is 7272.
